Race, Creed or National Origin

Over the past year I've been working on our upcoming trip to Italy and Paris. During this period there have been a number of times I have needed to email questions. The fact it is by email is important because it removes all visual or verbal clues. What is left is a very straightforward written contact between myself and mainly people in Italy. As English has become a sort of international language, it would make sense that if someone from France, who may speak French and some English, may contact someone in Italy using English (who may only speak Italian and some English). As all of these factors collide, I've often wondered if our last name causes confusion as to whether we are English or French - coming to see Italy. Well, today I have the beginning of an answer. Someone responded to me and included the links to a website, one link for English and one link for French. They have links for numerous other languages, so why send me just the English and French links - Je ne s'pa
